Fall 2012 Grant Recipients Announced
The Foundation is thrilled to announce its grant recipients from the fall 2012 cycle. The Foundation was once again presented with countless extraordinary organizations, but decided on funding the following organizations due to the exceptional work being done.
- CASA of Ulster County- Kingston, NY
- Friends of the Children of New York – NY, NY
- Valley Youth House – Allentown, PA
- YMCA of Greater New York – NY, NY
This round of recipients brings with it another group of excellent programs impacting the lives of children and youths. From advocates for children in foster care, to after school programs, to young mother programs, the organizations funded are truly making a difference. Helen’s Hope Foundation is excited and proud to be connected with these organizations and looks forward to the impact they will make.
Final Update on Fall 2012 Grant Cycle
Helen’s Hope Foundation is in its final stages for the fall 2012 grant cycle. Decisions will be made by December 28th and organizations will be notified then. Funding letters will be sent out by January 1st.

Fall 2012 Grant Cycle Update
Helen’s Hope Foundation was thrilled to receive so many wonderful applications for our October 1st, 2012 deadline. The Foundation is currently in our review phase of these applications.
We wanted all applicants to be aware of the review process. Applications will be reviewed by the Board during the month of October. If additional information is needed, the Board will be in touch before the end of October. For organizations the Board wishes to visit, site visits or phone calls will be scheduled for November through early December. Organizations will receive our funding decision by the end of December and all grants will be sent out the first week of January.
We thank everyone for their applications and are once again thrilled to be hearing of all the impactful work being done to help underprivileged children.
Proposals due for Fall 2012 Grant Cycle
After a successful first grant cycle in April 2012, Helen’s Hope Foundation is back at it again!
Proposals are due to the Foundation by October 1st. All information is to be sent electronically to MallorySilva@HelensHopeFoundation.org. Funding guidlines can be found on the website under the Apply section. All applications must include:
- A cover letter providing a brief project description and the specific amount requested.
- A proposal, not exceeding five (5) pages, clearly setting forth the proposed program and the objectives to be attained.
- An outline of how the program’s success will be monitored and evaluated.
- A project/program budget including revenue and expenses. Under revenue, please include other foundations or corporations you have applied to for funding.
- Your organization’s most recent budget including revenue and expenses as approved by the Board of Directors.
- A copy of your IRS Section 501(c)(3) status.
The Foundation looks forward to reviewing proposals and learning more about the wonderful work being done by organizations helping children throughout NY , FL, NJ and PA (focusing on Ulster County and New York City in NY, the Florida Keys in Florida, northern and central NJ, and the Philadelphia area in PA).
Spring Grant Cycle Recipients Decided
The board of Helen’s Hope Foundation tirelessly worked throughout the spring and into early summer to decide which applicants from the Spring 2012 Cycle would be awarded gifts. The Foundation is thrilled to announce that the following organizations have been funded for the 2012-2013 fiscal year.

- Open House Ministries, Florida
- Feinstein Center, Providence College

The work that the above organizations are doing to change the lives of underpivileged children is truly exceptional and the Founation is thrilled to be associated with such worthy causes.
