In addition to the above grants being funded, Helen’s Hope also created some lasting partnerships in 2020.

  • Endowed scholarships were set up at High Meadow School in NY and the Episcopal Academy in PA to support the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion efforts of both institutions.
  • A home was purchased for Genesis Hopeful Haven in FL for aged out foster care youth.

2017 Funding Decisions

Once again we were amazed with the many organizations doing truly excellent work to support children in need. After much deliberation, we awarded the following organizations with funding for 2017.

Applications will once again be accepted April 1st, with any changes to our application process being decided by January 1st.

2017 Grant Applications Being Accepted

Per the Foundation’s usual timeline, grant applications are currently being accepted for the 2017 funding cycle. Organizations planning to apply can review the application guidelines on our How to Apply page. Applications are due by April 1, 2017 and funding will be distributed by July 1, 2017. All applications must be submitted via e-mail as described in our guidelines.

Organizations funded in 2016 MUST submit their grant evaluation by March 1st in order to be considered for 2017 funding. This form was sent via e-mail to all organizations, if you have not received it please reach out at your earliest convenience.

Grant Applications to be Due April 1st, 2014

After careful review, the Foundation has decided to focus their efforts on one cycle a year. Going forward, applicants can apply for a Spring Cycle with a deadline of April 1st. The Board will then review applications and schedule site visits for late Spring and work to make funding decisions by July 1st.

All applicants must follow the guidelines posted on the website, and if questions arise they can reach out to MallorySilva@HelensHopeFoundation.org. Previously funded organizations must have completed the Grant Evaluation Form (provided by the Foundation) within one year of funding, in order to be eligible to apply.

Spring 2013 Grant Cycle Completed

Helen’s Hope Foundation was thrilled to once again have a successful grant cycle. Proposals were due to the Foundation on April 1, and they received more than ever. After months of meetings and deliberations, the Foundation announced their decisions on July 1st.
